All of us come into this world wanting approval, recognition, acceptance, on being appreciated and of course the highest of all love. What is good to remember is that the only practice that we do of lasting value is the practice we do on ourselves our inner work within ourselves. People have a definitive conditioned co-dependency to think of thinks as worthwhile only if someone else approves their self-worth/value they attach this to whom they think they are.
This painful thinking leaves us trying to please others, family members, friends, colleagues, forums and on Facebook etc. Yet what it does is it stops us from transiting upon a journey of self-observation and self investigation. We can feel that unless someone else can approve of our effort or self-discoveries that the our internal efforts have been lost to nothingness, done in vain.
This is so untrue because all our effort and inner work rewards the inner self the true part of whom you are. This true self needs nothing outside itself to know that its is practicing what it needs. It doesn’t need the others to tell you, you are successful, it has moved beyond success and is seeking to become a Master within its self. It needs no external acceptance.
It already knows it is walking Master ship. In fact it already knows it has arrived and is just waiting patiently for you to become aware of this and enjoy the learning of growing and developing.
